I work primarily in acrylics, painting a wide range of land and seascapes inspired by my childhood in the Yorkshire Dales and my travels around the coast of the UK. My style has moved towards semi-abstract over the years and I’m inspired by the feeling of space and wildness you find in our open moors and wild coasts. If I can find a smidgeon of that feeling in my paintings, then I’m happy.
